This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy” or “Statement”) explains how Sun Locke Media L.L.C. (“Sun Locke,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, processes, and uses Personal Data (as defined below) about individuals (“you” or “your”) who access or use our websites, services, applications, or otherwise interact with us (collectively, the “Services”).
In addition to this Privacy Policy, please review our Cookie Policy, which explains in more detail how we use cookies and similar technologies on our website and online services and what choices you have about them.
Your use of the Services is also governed by our Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”), available at [https://www.sunlocke.com/terms](/terms). By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Privacy Policy and the Terms. If you do not agree, you must immediately cease using the Services.

## 1. For whom this statement is relevant
This Privacy Policy applies to all users of our Services. It explains how we collect, process, and use Personal Data about you. “Personal Data” is information relating to an identified or identifiable individual.

## 2. Who is Sun Locke
For the purposes of applicable data protection laws, the entity acting as the data controller of your Personal Data is Sun Locke Media L.L.C. and, where applicable, its subsidiaries, affiliates, or related entities. Sun Locke determines the purposes and means of processing your Personal Data and is responsible for ensuring that your Personal Data is processed in compliance with this Privacy Policy and applicable laws.

### 2.1 Relationship to our Terms & Conditions
This Privacy Policy forms part of the Terms & Conditions that govern your use of the Services. Any capitalized terms used but not defined in this Privacy Policy have the meanings given to them in the Terms. In the event of a conflict between this Privacy Policy and the Terms, the Terms govern your contractual relationship with Sun Locke, and this Privacy Policy governs how we collect, use, and disclose Personal Data.

## 3. Why we collect Personal Data and from what sources
We collect and collate Personal Data that you either directly provide to us or that we obtain or infer through your use of the Services, as well as from third parties. The categories and amount of Personal Data we collect depend on the Services and the nature of your interactions with us.
Directly from you: When you register for an account, use our Services, contact us for support, respond to surveys, participate in promotions or events, subscribe to marketing communications, or otherwise provide Personal Data.
When you contact us by email, phone, form, or another open channel, we may use the contact information you provide to respond to your inquiry and follow up about that inquiry or any Services you request. That contact does not replace any separate consent required by applicable law for a particular category or channel of marketing communication.
From your device and usage: We may automatically collect technical data such as IP addresses, browser types, device identifiers, operating systems, access times, and referring URLs. We also track how you interact with the Services (e.g., pages visited, features used, emails opened).
From third parties: We may obtain Personal Data from public and commercial sources, including business websites, online directories, social media and professional networking platforms, and reputable third party data providers. This may include business contact information, such as your name, job title, company, business email address, and business phone number, which we use for B2B outreach and marketing. We may also receive Personal Data from analytics providers, advertising networks, internet service providers, payment processors and other service providers that help us operate, secure and improve the Services.
We may also infer data about you based on the information you provide or make available to us, such as personalizing your experience, suggesting additional Services, or drawing other inferences. In addition, we may use aggregated, deidentified, or anonymized data for any lawful business purpose.
We will indicate where any requested Personal Data is mandatory or optional. If you choose not to provide certain mandatory Personal Data, we may not be able to provide certain Services to you.
Our Services may contain links to third-party websites. Any access to and use of such linked websites is governed by the privacy policies of those third-party websites, and we are not responsible for the privacy practices of such third parties.

## 4. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies, pixels, and similar tracking technologies to operate our website, remember your preferences, understand how visitors use our services, and support our marketing and sales efforts. Essential storage may operate when needed for the site or to remember your privacy choice.
We use Vercel Analytics as a cookieless measurement service to help us understand page visits and improve content and performance. Vercel Analytics does not set cookies and may process information such as page URLs, referrers, timestamps, device and browser characteristics, and coarse location for aggregated reporting. It is enabled by default, is not used as an optional cookie category, and is disclosed here rather than presented as an optional cookie checkbox. Cookie based marketing tools, such as ActiveCampaign site tracking, run by default. Where the law of your location requires your consent first, including in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Quebec, they remain off until you accept them. Where it requires an opt-out, including elsewhere in Canada, you can switch them off through the Cookie settings link in the footer. For more information about how we use cookies and how you can control them, please see our Cookie Policy.
On our Articles pages, we maintain an anonymous view counter so the “Most Read” list can reflect which stories are receiving attention. The counter records only an increment for the article viewed; we do not attach it to your name, email address, IP address, or account, and we do not use it to follow you across websites. Your browser may use temporary session storage to avoid counting repeated reads of the same article within a short period.

If you request that we delete your Personal Data, we will do so unless we are legally required or otherwise permitted by law to retain the data. Once we no longer need your Personal Data, we will securely delete, deidentify, or anonymize it.

## 7. With whom we may share your Personal Data
We do not sell Personal Data for money as a normal business practice. Depending on the jurisdiction, disclosing online identifiers or activity to advertising or analytics partners may nevertheless be treated as a sale or sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising. We ensure that any third parties who process your Personal Data are bound by robust contractual obligations that uphold data protection standards and safeguard your rights.

## 9. Where we store your data

Whenever we transfer your Personal Data outside the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or other regions with strict data protection laws, we will implement appropriate safeguards to ensure a level of data protection consistent with applicable law. You may contact us for a summary of the safeguards we have in place to protect your Personal Data and privacy rights in these circumstances.

## 10. Privacy practices of third parties
This Privacy Policy only addresses our processing of your Personal Data. Other parties, including other users and third parties that have access to or may collect data in connection with our Services, have their own privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party platforms, applications, or services you use or interact with.
If our Services integrate with any third-party APIs or services (e.g., YouTube API), we will inform you and link to their respective privacy policies. You have the option to revoke such access as described by the applicable platform’s settings.

If we cannot verify your identity, we may not be able to fulfill your request. If we deny your request, you may have the right to appeal our decision as permitted by applicable law.

## 13. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website with the updated “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the Services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.

## 14. Additional Disclosures for California Residents
Sun Locke does not currently meet the thresholds of the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”) or similar state privacy laws, and we do not sell personal information. If that changes, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any choices those laws require.

## 15. Data Privacy Framework Participation (if applicable)
Where applicable, Sun Locke may comply with relevant data protection frameworks, such as the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework or other similar programs.
